Old Bridge Girls Softball League stresses the importance of upholding our code of conduct during games. Our goal is to create a positive and respectful environment where the players can develop their skills, have fun, and build lasting friendships. Also, to ensure that every game is enjoyable for everyone involved. By not adhering to these guidelines, it may lead to removal from the league, so It’s essential that we all adhere to the following guidelines:
Respect for Officials: treat umpires with courtesy and respect, even if you disagree with their calls. Remember that they are doing their best to officiate the game fairly.
Sportsmanship: Display good sportsmanship at all times, whether you’re winning or losing. Congratulate opponents on their successes and avoid gloating or taunting.
Supportive Spectating: Cheer for our team enthusiastically, but refrain from making negative comments about the opposing team, their players, coaches, or spectators. Let’s focus on encouraging our players to do their best.
Parent/Guardian Behavior: Parents and Guardians play a crucial role in setting a positive example for our players. Please support your child and their teammates in a positive and encouraging manner.
Facility Respect: Treat the facilities and equipment with care and respect. Clean up after ourselves and leave the field in better condition than we found it.
